James "Jimmy" Darrell Cantrell, 87 of Canton, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Cameron Hall Assisted Living.

The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Monday, November 6, 2023, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral services in honor and celebration of Mr. Cantrell's life will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, in the Darby Funeral Home chapel. Rev. Billy Edmondson will officiate. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park.

Mr. Cantrell is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Teri Cantrell of Jasper; grandchild, Cassi Cantrell of California; and great-grandchild, Lila Foley of California.

The family is accepting flowers, or in lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made in Mr. Cantrell's memory to The American Cancer Society.
