James Austin Dixon Jr., age 76 of Canton, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain. Mr. Dixon was a Retired Lieutenant with the Georgia State Patrol. Memorial Services will be held at 12:30 PM Friday December 4, 2020 at the Canton First United Methodist Church, Rev. Kelly Beckley will officiate. Interment Will be in the Georgia National Cemetery with Military Honors. Rev. Jim McRae will officiate. Survivors are his wife, Sherry Dixon, Canton, GA Son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy & Alyson Dixon, Canton, Ga, Daughter and son-in-law, Donna & Doug Southerland, Rome, Ga.
