James "Dickey" Gearing, 57 of Canton, GA passed away Thursday May 5, 2011 at Heritage Hospice.  Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday May 9, from the Darby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Holmes officiating.  Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park.  Family will receive friends on Sunday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.  Survivors include, Mother, Annie Mae Gearing, Canton, GA; Brothers, Jeffery Stephen Gearing, Canton, GA; Bryon Todd Gearing; Sisters, Eleanor Gail & Oscar Pickens, Canton, GA; Rosemary Keith, Canton, GA; Sandra Gates, Canton, GA; Pamela Patrice & Fred Langston, Jr., Canton, GA; Charlene Darion, Douglasville, GA.  Mr. Gearing was preceded in death by Father, James Lee Gearing, Sr., & Sister, Teeresa Faye Gearing.  The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
