James Lamar Hicks, 84 of Ball Ground, GA., passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Heritage Hospice in Marietta.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 20th from 3-6pm at Darby Funeral Home. The funeral will be Sunday, January 21st at 2pm at Orange Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Burgner officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
He was predeceased in death by his son, Fredrick Marlon Hicks, and his grandson, John Wesley Wheeling.
He is survived by:
Wife - Carol Hicks of Ball Ground, GA.
Daughter - Kim Hicks Wheeling of Canton, GA.
Daughter - Tanya Hicks of Ball Ground, GA.
Sister - Marsha Davis of Canton, GA.
Grandchildren - Trevor Cole Hicks, Ashley Blair Hicks
