Scott MacKenzie age 26 of Canton, GA died Thursday, September 29, 2011.  Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, October 3, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. from the Church of the Messiah with Rev. Fred Goodwin and Rev. Paul Hogan officiating.  Interment will be in the GA National Cemetery.    Family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-6 PM at the Church of the Messiah.  Survivors include Parents; Robert and Nan MacKenzie, Canton, GA.  Sister; Savannah MacKenzie, Canton, GA.  Grandparents; Jim
and Madeline Oric, Chattanooga, TN.  Aunt; Janet Oric, Lynchburg, TN.  Mr. MacKenzie was a United States Marine Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he received a Purple Heart, and was always a member of Wounded Warriors.  In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Scott MacKenzie Fund c/o Church of the Messiah, 415 Charles Cox Dr, Canton, Ga. 30115.  The caring staff of Darby Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
