James Randy Poole, age 67, of Kennesaw, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain in Marietta, Georgia. 

Randy was born on April 21, 1959, in Charleston, South Carolina, to the late James and Myrtle Poole. 

Randy will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and scout leader whose life was deeply enriched by the family and friends he loved. He leaves behind those who knew him best and will carry his memory with them in the days and years to come. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Eileen Poole of Kennesaw, Georgia; daughters, Maureen Poole of Atlanta, Georgia; Amy (Brendan) Skowronski of Woodstock, Georgia; son, Stephen Poole of Davenport, Florida; grandson, Wyatt Leo Skowronski; sister Betty Jo (Glen); sister in law Mary (Roger) Rossman and many beloved nieces, nephews, and their children. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held in the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour. Following the service, family and friends are invited to continue celebrating Randy’s life at a reception at Hickory Flat Fire Station Community Room from 4pm to 6pm.
