James Michael Scott, age 68 of Canton, passed away on Wednesday, October 25th. The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Sunday, October 29th from 12:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. The funeral will be on Monday, October 30th at 11:00a.m. in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Padgett, Rev. Terry Caylor, and Rev. Allan Dixon officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. He is preceded in death by sons, Mitchell and Devin Scott. He is survived by:
Mother - Martha Scott of Canton
Son - David Monroe of Marietta
Son - Jayroe Monroe of N.Y.
Daughter - Christy (Jeff) Miller of Mineral Bluff
Daughter - Sheena (Phillip) Bentley of Ball Ground
Twenty-five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
