James Thomas Vinson, age 79 of Canton, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. The funeral will be on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 2:00p.m. at Antioch Christian Church with Rev. Ken May officiating. Interment will be on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 11:00a.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park. He is survived by:

Stepson - James (Terri) Fricks of Dove Canyon, CA.
Step-daughter - Ada Marsh (Bob) Anderson of Rome
Step-grandchild - Ashley Nichole (Jeremy) Gleason of Denver, CO.
Step-great-grandchild - Eleanor Mae Gleason
