James "Homebrew" Yancey, 88 of Canton, GA passed away Thursday November 3, 2011 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.  Funeral services are scheduled for 12:30 PM Sunday November 6, from the Darby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Ware, Rev. Billy Edmondson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Cherokee Memorial Park.  Family will receive friends on Friday and Saturday from 12-8 PM.  Survivors include Sons
& Daughters-in-law, David & Wendie Yancey, Jasper, GA; Danny & Jan Yancey, Canton, GA; Doug & Tammy Yancey, Canton, GA; 5  Grandchildren, Jeremy & Melissa Moody; Jason & Tara Moody; Cody & Summer Yancey; Charlie Yancey; William Yancey; 3 great grandchildren, Eli Moody; Madison Moody; Mason Moody.  Mr. Yancey was a local business man and World War II veteran.  The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
