Jasper Buren Manous, age 83 of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at North Fulton Hospital. The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 4:00p.m. to 9:00p.m., Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 10:00a.m. to 9:00p.m., and Friday, October 21, 2016 from 10:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, October 21, 2016 at 2:00p.m. from the chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Mulkey and Rev. Jason Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Betty Manous of Canton, his son, Greg Manous of Canton, his daughter, Sylvia (Perry) Marshall of Canton, his brothers, Hines (Sara) Manous of Canton and Bobby Manous of Canton, and his sisters, Clara (Winford) Phillips of Canton and Mary Jean West of Canton. Three grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
