Retired CW5 Jeffrey Kennedy King, 65, of Woodstock, GA passed away on March 4, 2015 in his home. Jeff was born in Evanston, IL. He was commissioned into the U.S. Army in 1971 from North Georgia College. He graduated from the U.S. Primary Helicopter School in Ft. Walters, TX in 1973. He proudly served in the Aviation Branch of the U.S. Army and Georgia Army National Guard for 40 years, retiring May, 2011, as a distinguished Chief Warrant Officer 5. Jeff was a member of Cherokee Baptist Church of Woodstock, GA, serving in various areas of the church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Thomas Hudner King Sr. and Lois Brown King, and brother; Thomas Hudner King, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kathy Fleming, son; Jesse, and daughter; Lacey.
