Jerry O'Neil Bishop, age 80 of Canton, Ga., passed away on February 15, 2019 at Seasons Hospice in Cumming, Ga. The Bishop Family will be accepting friends on Monday, February 18, 2019, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Darby Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Mr. Travis Kuter will officiate the funeral service. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery on Harmony Road in Canton, Ga. Mr. Jerry Bishop is survived by wife Betty Bishop of Canton, Ga., daughter Christy & Terry Adams of Canton, Ga., two grandchildren: Beth (Josh) Boling and Morgan (Taylor) Adams; and three great-grandchildren: Cooper Boling, Jayce Adams, and Brody Adams. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Jerry O'Neil Bishop may be made to Harmony Cemetery Fund, c/o Roy Doss, 690 Beavers Road, Canton, Ga. 30115. Mr. Jerry O'Neil Bishop retired as a Lieutenant with Fulton County Police Department, serving from 1964 until 1994. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bishop Family.
