Jerry Lloyd Mason

Jerry Lloyd Mason, age 79, of Cleburne, Texas, formerly of Canton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 4, 2024.

Born on May 19, 1945, to Lloyd Benjamin Mason and Jackie Virginia Gilbert Mason, Jerry grew up embodying the values of service, dedication, and love for family.

Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, a commitment that exemplified his honor and steadfast character. He carried this sense of duty throughout his life, touching the lives of everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his loving family: daughters Christiane "Cissy" Ward (Rob) of Cleburne, TX, Stacey Greene (Jeff) of Houston, TX; son Shawn Mason of Houston, TX; brothers Kippie Mason of Smyrna, GA, and Barry Mason of Athens, GA; and eight cherished grandchildren who brought great joy to his life.

Jerry will be laid to rest with full Air Force honors at the Georgia National Cemetery on Friday, December 13, 2024. His family invites all who knew him to join in celebrating his life and honoring his memory.
