Jerry Gene Wright, age 73 of Woodstock, GA, passed away peacefully at his home Sunday August 24, 2014. Visitation will be Wednesday August 27, 2014 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00PM Wednesday August 27, 2014 in the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Reverend Jeffery Lipsey will officiate. Mr. Wright is survived by his wife of 37 years; Katherine Wright, Woodstock, GA, sons; Danny Gene Wright, Enterprise, AL, Jerry Anthony Wright, Enterprise, AL, daughter; Audrey (Allen) Dorrill, Ozark, AL, brother; James Joseph (Alice) Wright Jr, Enid, OK, niece; Christina Fillingim, Pensacola, FL, 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Ray Wright and great grandson, Aubrey Michael Dwayne King. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
