Mrs Joan Deretta Bates age 61 of Canton, Died Wednesday May 18, 2011. Memorial Services will be held 4:00 P.M. Saturday from the Chapel of the Darby Funeral Home. Rev. Fredrick Forsh will officiate. Family will receive friends 2Pm 4 PM Saturday. Brothers and Sisters in Law , Donze & Jacqueline Bates, Canton, GA , Dwight Bates , Canton, James Strickland, and Cary Strickland . Sister Fran Bates, Canton. Special Aunt, Forene Bates, Canton, Caring staff of Darby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
