Joan Marie Strobel
June 14, 1960 – April 30, 2025

Joan Marie Strobel, age 64, of Livery, Georgia, passed away on April 30, 2025. Born on June 14, 1960, in Teaneck, New Jersey, Joan was the beloved daughter of the late Ruth Marion Stanford Strobel and Warren Strobel.

Joan was a woman of quiet strength and deep compassion. She had a lifelong love for photography, capturing the beauty in everyday moments with an artist's eye. Animals held a special place in her heart, and she shared her home and life with her cherished Pugs, Sophie and Monkey, and her cat, Newt.

A devoted member of St. Clements Episcopal Church in Canton, Georgia, Joan found joy and fellowship within her church community, who became her extended family. Her faith, kindness, and gentle spirit touched the lives of many.

Joan is survived by her brother, Fred Strobel of Atlanta, Georgia, as well as her loving church family and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00PM Saturday May 17, 2025 at St. Clements Episcopal Church, 2795 Ridge Rd, Canton, GA 30114.
