John W. Heard, 78 of Canton, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023. Visitation will be Friday, April 21st from 6-8pm at Darby Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday, April 22nd at 2pm at Canton First United Methodist Church with Pastor Ralph Steed and Rev. Frank Fitzpatrick officiating. Interment will be at Cherokee Memorial Park. He is survived by:
Daughter - Alesia Steele of Canton
Son - Steven (Amy) Heard of Spring Hill, TN.
Sister - Dorothy Ann Heard of Woodstock
Brother - Marvin Heard of Dunwoody
Grandchildren - Taron Murray, Janai Bowen, Joi Steele, and Christopher Heard
4 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren also survive.
