John Clayton Kaslick, 79 of Canton, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023.
John was born on June 12, 1944, in Oakland, CA, to William and Cecilia Kaslick.
After John graduated from Piedmont High School in 1962, he joined the US Air Force and was stationed through the United States and Canada. He worked in Radio Communication Systems.
After leaving the US Air Force, he started his first job at Univac Sperry as a Field Engineer, kickstarting a 35 year career in Computer Engineering, employers included Intel, IBM, and Sun Microsystems.
In 1970, John met his wife, Judy, of 53 years in Oakland, CA. He is predeceased in death by William and Cecilia (parents), Paul and Orytha Kunselman (father and mother in law). John is survived by Judy Kaslick (wife), Jeff and Susie Uhlich (son in law and daughter), Danny and Lanie Kaslick (son and daughter and law), and 4 grandchildren Logan Uhlich, Violet Uhlich, Rhys Uhlich and Nina Kaslick.
Services held Friday, August 4th. Starting with processional at Darby Funeral Home (480 E. Main Street, Canton, Ga 30114) at 8:15am followed by Military Honors Service at Georgia National Cemetery (2025 Mount Carmel Church Lane, Canton, GA 30114) at 9:15am.
A reception will follow at Olde Blind Dog in Crabapple (Milton) starting at 11:00am.
