John Francis Lawler III, passed away at home on September 15, 2024, at the age of 73, after a long battle with Alzheimer's and dementia.
He was born on July 18th, 1951, in New York. He was the son of the late John Francis Jr and Luella (Randall) Lawler.
John is formerly of Rutland, Vermont. He and his family relocated to Ball Ground, Ga in 1994.
John is survived by his wife of 53 years, Melissa and a daughter Rebecca Ryder (Scott) . John leaves behind nine grandchildren, Abby Ryder, Orli Ryder, Dale Ryder, Ezequiel Ryder, Simeon Ryder, Elija Ryder, Yona Ryder, Asher Ryder, and Tobias Ryder.
He is Preceded by a son, John Francis Lawler IV, and his parents. John is also survived by his brother James Lawler (Mary Jo) of California and three nephews, James Lawler, Dennis Lawler, and Brian Lawler, all of California, plus numerous cousins.
John also leaves behind his favorite Mother-in-law, GG Smith, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. He left behind many friends.
John served for fourteen years in the U S Army Vermont National Guard. He owned and operated Royal Pets, pet store in Rutland Vermont, until the family relocated to Georgia.
He retired in 2022 from Fed EX where he was a courier for 35 years.
