John Edward McIntosh, 65, passed away Monday, December 28, 2015, at his home in Woodstock, Georgia. A memorial service will be held from the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home at 1:00PM Saturday January 2, 2016. He was born in Cortland, New York, on May 19, 1950, the son of Robert Nye McIntosh and Florence Hennesy McIntosh. He spent his childhood and young adulthood in Florida. He was a graduate of Edgewater High School in Orlando, Florida and attended Orlando Community College. He traveled all over the Southeast for his work and advanced his way up to become a superintendent in the commercial construction business. John was a true patriot and loved his country. He deeply loved all of his family and was deeply loved in return. John loved animals, could grow anything, build anything, and repair anything broken. Except for now, he cannot repair his wife and family's broken hearts. He is survived by his beloved wife, Teresa, sisters and brothers-in-law, Cheryl and Bob McKenna, Sally and Mike Marfia, daughter Michelle McIntosh and grandson, Fenix McIntosh. Also surviving are sister-in-law Susan Clark, mother-in-law Isabel Hunt, brother-in-law George Hunt, nephews Travis and Dillon Clark, Roberto, Tommy, and Tony Marfia, nieces and nephews in-law Lisa and Bob O'Malley, Robyn and Rajesh Paryani, and grandniece and grandnephews Shea, Meagan, and Colin O'Malley, and fiancé of Roberto Marfia, Ariel Strickler.
