John Frederick Moulson Jr. (Freddy), age 66 of Canton, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Northside Hospital Cherokee with a heart attack.
Freddy was born on September 7, 1951 in Atlanta, Georgia to his parents, John F. Moulson, Sr. and Anne Berryman Weitkamp, who are both deceased.
Freddy lived in Atlanta until age 9 and moved to Germany as his father was invited to sing opera.
Freddy became a master stage technician at the Schiller Theater and later at Komische Opera House where his father was employed.
In 1997, Freddy and his wife Beatrice and daughter Vanessa moved to the Atlanta area where his sister Jo Anne and other extended family lives in order to start a new career. He became very successful in the HVAC business and was able to start his own company Air Apparent.
Being a motorcycle enthusiast, he has traveled many roads with friends/family across the U.S. and Europe. Music (Rock & Roll) was a very prominent part of his life and he was an avid collector of vintage vinyl and tapes which even recently continued to share/exchange personalized mixed tapes with his friends across the world.
Being an excellent cook and a wine connoisseur you could always count on a great meal and glass of wine as Freddy also loved to entertain friends and family frequently.

Daughter - Sonia and Francois Remy
Daughter - Vanessa Moulson and Rusty Hashemi
Step-Mother - Magdalena Moulson
Sister - Jo Anne Moulson Eggleston
Brother - Nick and Amy Moulson
Niece - Jeanine and Doug Fiala
Nephew - Quentin and Tabatha Eggleston
Nephew - Raymond Eggleston
Fice grandchildren also survive in addition to aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends also thought of as family, and his beloved pet, Leyla the beagle.
His personality was such that all who met him, quickly knew they had met a friend. He will leave a big void in all our lives and be missed beyond what words can express.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at 3:00p.m. at the chapel of Darby Funeral Home with his nephew, Raymond Eggleston officiating.
