John Tillman Sauls, age 95 of Acworth, passed away on Friday, October 27th at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Mr. Sauls was a twenty year veteran of the U.S. Army. He served in WWII in the Korean conflict. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 1st from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Darby Funeral Home. A funeral mass will take place on Thursday, November 2nd at 2:00p.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Woodstock with Father Bob Blake officiating. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Zalenski Sauls, his son, John Sauls, and his granddaughter, Angela Parisio. He is survived by:

Daughter - Joyce (Mark) Parisio of Acworth
Daughter - Barbara (Joe) Haydu of Delaware
Sister - Glennis Hudson of Cartersville
Sister - Patsy Archer of California
Eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive.
