John Joseph Warner, Jr., age 70, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center.

Born on February 4, 1956, in Lyndeborough, New Hampshire, John was the son of the late John Joseph Warner, Sr. and Helen Warner.

John had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found great joy in hunting and spending time in nature. Whether in the woods or enjoying the beauty of the outdoors, he was happiest surrounded by God's creation. He was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and caring nature. John was a loving and compassionate man who treasured the relationships he shared with those closest to him. He shared an especially close bond with his sister, Muriel, and was a devoted uncle who was deeply loved by his nieces and nephews. To them, he was simply the best uncle anyone could ask for, always offering encouragement, laughter, and unwavering love.

He is survived by his devoted sister, Muriel Louise Tarte; his beloved nieces and nephews, Alexandria (Travis) Price, Scott Glen Ayers, Jason (Diana) Tarte, and Michael (Diane) Tarte; along with extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the visitation at Old Macedonia Campground Cemetery in White, Georgia.

Though John will be greatly missed, his family finds comfort in the love he shared, the memories he created, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.
