Johnnie Mae Vera Peffer
July 26, 1942 – February 7, 2025
Johnnie Mae Vera Peffer, 82, passed away peacefully at home in Blue Ridge, GA, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 26, 1942, in Jasper, Alabama, to Edith Mae Robinson Cole and John Earl Cole.
Johnnie Mae was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found joy in her family and the simple pleasures of life. She had a fun-loving spirit, a kind heart, and a passion for shopping. Her laughter and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her sons: Jerry Peffer of Blue Ridge, GA; Rick and Cynthia Peffer of Canton, GA; Doug and Vera Peffer of Canton, GA; and her daughters: Tamatha Rylands of Blue Ridge, GA; and Pamela and Ken Whitted of Blue Ridge, GA. She is also survived by her brother, Terry and Dot Glover of Alabama; her sister, Bonnie Johnston of Alabama; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Darby Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rolling Hills Cemetery in Acworth, GA.
Johnnie Mae's warmth, love, and vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
