Johnny Tatum age 73 of Canton, GA passed away Monday October 17, 2011 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.  Born August 19, 1938,  Johnny was a Church member for about 57 years. He was a Canton Merchant, Member and Past President of the Canton Jaycess and Canton Lions Club, and was active in  Cherokee Chamber of Commerce. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday October 20, 2011, from the Darby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gen Tatum and  Rev. Franklin McPherson officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include Wife, Sue Blackwell Tatum, they were married January 1, 1956. Son and daughter-in-law Kyle & Beth Tatum, Watkinsville, GA; Daughter and son-in-law, Jonna & Blayne Shelton,  Dunwoody, GA; Grandsons, Joshua  Tatum, Zachary Tatum, Cara Weldon, Allison Weldon, Claire Sheldon, and Audrey Shelton. Brothers Billy Tatum and Sammy Tatum, Both of Canton, GA; Sisters, Rachel Cronan, Rebekah Tatum, Both of Canton GA.
