Joey was born on January 28th, 1992 in Orlando, FL son of Anthony Cerrito, Jr. and Janeen West Caviness.
Joey was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He had a heart that loved fiercely and a smile that lit up every room. He was a nutrition and fitness enthusiast and it wasn't uncommon to see him hiking a mountain or training at the gym. He loved to sport a fresh cut, new clothes, and a pair of Nikes.
Joseph will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and the laughter he brought to everyone who knew him. He was best described as a gentle and kind soul. To know Joey, was to love Joey. Although he was taken too soon from us, he will live on in our hearts.
This isn't goodbye forever, but merely for now.
He is preceded in death by his nephew, Aiden Shaw, grandmother, Elizabeth West, grandfather Gary "Skip" West, grandfather, Harvey Fried, and uncle, Johnny Manson.
Joseph is survived by his father, Anthony Cerrito Jr., of Holly Springs, GA; his mother, Janeen Caviness, of Mississippi; his sisters, Jacee Cerrito of Brookhaven, GA, and Ashley Senger of Holly Springs, GA; his brother, Anthony Cerrito III, of Rome, GA; his grandmother, Mary Fried, of North Port, FL; and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
