Joyce L. Shelton, 75 of Canton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024, at her residence.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, Monday, October 14, 2024, from 3:00pm to 8:00pm, and Tuesday, October 15, 2024, from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rolling Hills Cemetery in Acworth, Georgia.

Mrs. Shelton was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Delphine Bostick, and brother, Sammy Bostick.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Shelton of Canton, Georgia; son, Joseph Shelton of Canton, Georgia; daughter, Tina Reed of Canton, Georgia; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Raymond (Jan) Bostick of Woodstock, Georgia, Tommy (Kathy) Bostick of Jasper, Georgia, and Wayne (Mary) Bostick of Woodstock, Georgia; and sister, Marie Pearson of Cumming, Georgia.
