Karen Denise Horton, age 71, of Canton, GA passed peacefully on Saturday, December 10, 2022, after her battle with Leukemia. She was a loving wife of 52 years, a proud mother to two children and nana to two grandchildren. She is survived by Loren Horton, husband; Sonya Beam, daughter and her husband Brian Beam; Scott Horton, son and his wife Amy Horton and their children Katie and Owen; and nephew Chris Kelley. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Lurena & Jimmie Kelly.

Services will be held Thursday, December 15th at 12:30 PM at Darby Funeral Home, 480 E Main St, Canton GA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 14th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Mrs. Horton will be laid to rest at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Karen Horton to Emory Winship Cancer Institute, Winship Leukemia Fund. Notes to the family may be sent to 404 Eaglewood Way, Canton GA 30115.
