Kathy Yvonne Carmichael, age 75, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Bellevue Village in Woodstock, Georgia.

Kathy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who dedicated much of her life to her family. She worked for many years at Carmichael’s Store, a family-owned business, as well as on the family farm. She was a proud graduate of Cherokee High School.

She was preceded in death by her son, John Carmichael, and her granddaughter, Nyah Cartledge.

Kathy is survived by her devoted husband, Johnny Carmichael of Canton, Georgia; her son, Kyle Carmichael of Canton, Georgia; and her daughter, Amy (Heath Chadwick) Cartledge of Canton, Georgia. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Seth Cartledge, Olivia Carmichael, and Jeri Ann Carmichael.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 8, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on Thursday, April 9, from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Darby Funeral Home in Canton, Georgia.

A funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 9, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Kyle Carmichael and Rev. Mike Green. Interment will follow at Macedonia Memorial Park in Canton, Georgia.
