Kenneth Allen Nelson, age 81 of Canton, GA passed away Sunday May 24, 2015 at his residence. Visitation will begin Wednesday May 27, 2015 from 4:00PM - 8:00PM. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00PM Thursday May 28, 2015 from the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Dr. George Anderson officiating. Interment with U.S. Army military honors will be held in Cherokee Memorial Park. Mr. Nelson is survived by his wife; Margaret Nelson, Canton, GA, sons; Jeffery Kenneth (Leigh) Nelson, Jasper, GA, Jamie (Jamie) Nelson, Jasper, GA, sister; Barbara Nelson Weiss, Biloxi, MS, 6 grandchildren; Anna (Brady) Bennett, Ashley Nelson, Amanda Nelson, Chase Nelson, Kenneth Nelson and Elena Nelson. He is preceded in death by his son; Ronald Allen Nelson and brother; Jack Nelson. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
