Kenneth Eugene Padgett, age 51 of Waleska, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Thursday, December 15, 2016 and Friday December 16, 2016 from 12:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 1:00p.m. with Rev. Floyd Ellis, Rev. Tony Angel, and Rev. Larry Edmondson officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Padgett of Waleska, his son, Edward Berger of Waleska, his daughter, Nikki Peardon of Canton, his parents, Eugene and Mary Padgett of Woodstock, his brother, Jackie Padgett of Marble Hill, and his sister, Debra Baylin of Canton. Two grandchildren also survive, Keira Berger and Breylan Peardon. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
