Obituary

Keren Elisabeth Kravig King departed this earthly realm on May 29, 2026. She was 49 years old. She was predeceased by her father Kirk Kravig, and is survived by her sons Robert and Russell, her mother and step-father Cheryl and Donald Robinson, her sisters Christina Kravig, Sara Gable Kravig, her brother Aaron Kravig, step-sisters Sandra Scott, Patricia Sarkady, step-brother Thomas Robinson, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved friends.

Keren was born on April 15, 1977, in Lowell, IN and moved to Georgia as a teenager, a place she would come to love and call home. Keren studied horticulture at Gwinnett Tech and developed an encyclopedic knowledge of plant life. She devoted her life to raising her two sons and was determined to help them actualize the potentials they aspire to.

Keren was fiercely devoted to plants, the downtrodden, the dance, and was a prolific poet, artist, and lover of God and her savior Jesus Christ. An amateur philosopher, she strived to maintain the mind of a beginner as she grappled with life’s most complex quandaries, hopes, fears, and uncertainties.

She was a muse to many flowers, trees, insects, friends, and lovers; living with an open heart for connection and making the world richer for it. She spent many days loving and caring for others and there are countless friends and strangers scattered throughout the land whose lives were blessed by the love, acceptance, and affirmation they experienced from her.

Keren is sorely missed. In lieu of flowers or donations, please honor her life by reaching out to the needy in your community with gifts of food, wildflowers and conversation.

Celebration of Keren’s life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 9000 Beaver Creek Rd. Alpharetta, GA 30022. We will be meeting in the garden at 2pm, with a reception to follow.

The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Ms. Keren Elisabeth Kravig King.
