Lawrence "Larry" Robert Aman
July 22, 1944 – July 7, 2025
Lawrence "Larry" Robert Aman, age 80, of Canton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025. Born on July 22, 1944, in Rochester, New York, Larry was the beloved son of the late June Cherry Aman and Robert "Bud" Aman.
On June 3, 1967, Larry married the love of his life, Kathleen Kuchman Aman. Together, they shared 58 beautiful years of marriage, building a life centered on love, family, and devotion.
Larry proudly served his country as a veteran of the Vietnam War, a service that remained a source of honor and pride throughout his life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Aman of Canton, GA; three daughters, Cindy (Roger) Brueckman of Cumming, GA, Stacey (Judd) Dry of Round Rock, TX, and Wendy (Darron) Earnhardt of Kannapolis, NC; sister, Sheila Plummer of Albion, NY; and three cherished grandchildren, Anissa Journell, Kyle Reichardt, and Alix Dry.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, July 31, 2025, in the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 AM until the hour of service. Interment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery with full Army Honors.
Larry will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering love for his family, and his honorable service to his country. He leaves behind a legacy of dignity, patriotism, and deep devotion to those he loved most.
