Lester John Watkins, age 81 of Canton, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 at Northside Hospital Forsyth. Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, December 14, 2014 from Macedonia Baptist Church at 3PM with Rev. Gary Coffey, Rev. Gerral Richards and Rev. Horace Richards officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday, December 12 from 7PM-9PM, Saturday from 2PM-4PM & 6PM-8PM and Sunday from 12 Noon-2PM. He is survived by his wife Mary Watkins of Canton; Daughters & Son-in-Laws, Johnna (Chuck) Martin of Alpharetta and Marla (Phil) Cochran of Lathemtown; Grandchildren, Miles Martin, Lance (Mary Beth) Martin, Brittney (Christopher) LeBlanc and Shanna Cochran; Great GrandChilldren, Sage and Bennett LeBlanc; Sisters, Dorothy Vaughn, Myrtle Richards and Ruby Green. Lester was an active member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Macedonia Community Club and helped with the start up of Circle 5 Fire Department. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
