Announcement:
Linda McCord Disheroon, age 77, of Canton, GA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Cherokee Center for Nursing and Healing, where she had been lovingly cared for over the past eight years.
Linda was born in Anniston, Alabama, to Carl and Bert McCord. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Disheroon; and her brother, Earl McCord.
She is survived by her daughter, Joy Disheroon Jenson; her siblings Sue (Phillip) Stephens, Randy (Dianna) McCord, Gary (Robin) McCord; and her sister-in-law Betty McCord. Linda is also survived by her three cherished grandchildren and six beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Monday, October 27th at noon at Rainsville Funeral Home in Rainsville, Alabama.
All who knew Linda loved her deeply and will forever miss her gentle nature and caring spirit.
