Louis Vernon Lundak, Jr.
Age 78
Of White, Georgia
Formerly of Troy, Illinois
Went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 7th, 2022 at 12:30am

Louie was enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1961. He was an award-winning employee of BP Amoco for 30 years, until hsis retirement in 2008. In his retirement, he worked as a gardener at Sunnyside Nursery in Troy, Illinois. After relocating to White, Georgia, he started a small firewood and handyman business.

His spare time was spent fishing and attending Sutallee Baptist Church. Louie was well-known for sharing words of wisdom, lending a helping hand, and animated storytelling. He was a friend to anyone who had met him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis V. Lundak, Sr. and Agnes Parkhurst; uncle Leo Lundak; siblings Bill Lundak, Robert Lundak, and Diana Crump; as well as former spouse Wanda Sue Meadows.

He is survived by his children Louis V. Lundak III, Cynthia [Bobby] Moss, and Matthew Lundak; siblings Barbara [Woody] Beard, Norma [Cindy] Lundak, and Frank [Janna] Lundak; grandchildren Dean Brinkman III, Katelynn Lesiewicz, Sidney Lundak, and Spencer Lundak; and great grandchildren Danielle, Myia, and Noah, along with several nieces and nephews.
