Obituary for Margaret Darlene Tate
Margaret Darlene (Youngblood) Tate, age 70 of Bryon, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Eastside Hospital – Snellville after a brief illness.
A memorial service will be held to honor and celebrate the life of Mrs. Tate on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Rev. Jeff Birmingham will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:30pm until the memorial service hour. interment will take place at Georgia National Cemetery on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 12:30PM.
Mrs. Tate was the daughter of the late Rev. Brooks and Mrs. Ruby (Moore) Youngblood. She was a graduate of Toombs Central High school near Vidalia, GA. After a career in healthcare management Mrs. Tate retired in 2010 to take care of her granddaughter. Her family was the joy of her life, second only to her love for Jesus Christ.
Mrs. Tate is survived by her loving husband, Sonny Tate, Sr. of Byron, GA, son, Mack (Erin) Tate of Cumming, GA, daughter, Kimberly (Kevin) Mechwart of Dawsonville, GA, and grandchildren, Jacob Tate and Hayden Mechwart.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Mrs. Tate's honor to the missions and evangelism ministry at River Rocks Calvary Chapel Church, located at 1390 Weber Industrial Drive, Cumming, GA 30041 -
