Marlene Day Matthews, 89 of Jasper, GA., passed away Friday, January 10, 2024, at The Landings of Canton Hills. The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Friday, January 17th from 11am-2pm. The funeral will follow at 2pm in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park. She is survived by:
Daughter - Susan (Lad) Silsbee of Jasper, GA.
Grandchildren - Cade Silsbee and Erika Ziegler
6 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to North Canton Baptist Church in her memory.
