Mrs. Martha Pearl Bennett, age 100, of Waleska died on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009 at 3 P.M. from the Goshen Baptist Church in Waleska with Rev. Jimmy Hogan and Rev. Horace Richards officiating. Interment in Goshen Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, November 23, 2009 from 4 P.M. – 9 P.M. at Darby Huey Funeral Home in Canton. Survivors are Sons and Daughters-in-laws Joe & Martha Bennett, Canton; Wayne & Cindy Bennett, Waleska; Daughter, Margaret Pruitt, Canton; Sister, Ruby Patterson, Ranger, GA; Grandchildren, Janda Pruitt, Jeffery Bennett, Heather Bennett, Kyle Bennett; Caretakers, Wanda Hendrix and Melinda Hillhouse. Mrs. Bennett was the oldest member of Goshen Baptist Church where she was a member for 85 years. The caring staff of Darby Huey Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
