Mary Rachel Cantrell's Obituary
Mary Rachel Cantrell, age 69, of Canton, GA, passed away on August 30, 2012.
Born on March 23, 1943 in Canton, GA. Rachel was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Ruby Lee and James (Buck) Weldon Cline of Waleska, GA. Rachel spent her younger years in Waleska and Marietta, GA and recently resided in Canton, GA.
She graduated from Osborne High School and attended Reinhardt College.
Rachel is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Lamar; daughter Angela Boney and her husband Walt of Jacksonville, FL; daughter Beth Hedrick and her husband Gary of Marietta, GA, as well as four loving grandchildren Thomas Boney, Amber Boney, Justin Hedrick, and Katie Hedrick.
Rachel was an avid bridge player who loved to travel. Our Loving Rachel will be missed by a host of family and friends and will continue to be a light that shines in the lives of others.
The family will receive visitors Friday, August 31, 2012, from 5-8pm and the funeral will be held at 2pm Saturday, both at the Darby Funeral Home, 480 East Main St., Canton, GA 30114.
In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to the Canton First United Methodist Church at 930 Lower Scott Mill Road, Canton, GA 30115.
