Mary Annette Fleming, age 90 of Woodstock, passed away on Wednesday, October 11th at her residence. Mrs. Fleming was the first female elected to the position of Clerk of Superior Court in Cherokee County. She served in this position from 1977 to 1993.
The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Friday, October 13th from 2:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. The funeral will be on Saturday, October 14th at 11:00a.m. in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Rev. Ruben Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. She is survived by:
