Mary Jane Langston, age 73 of Woodstock, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, June 22, 2013 from the chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until the service hour. Dr. C.R. Hill and Reverend Ed Towers will Officiate. Mrs. Langston is survived by her husband of 56 years, James Donald Langston, Woodstock, GA, sons; Kenneth Andrew & Tanya Poole Langston, Jasper, GA, Peter Donald Langston, Cleveland, GA, mother and step father; Irene & Fred Murray, Toccoa, GA, grandchildren; Alexander Carlton Langston and Zachary Tate Langston. She is preceded in death by her brother William Sheriff. Jane and her husband Don Langston were married June 14, 1957. She was a member of Canton First United Methodist Church. She loved her grandchildren , gardening, needlework, the ocean and her dog Pee Wee. In lieu of flowers, donations are to be made to the battered women's shelters at safehorizon.org. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
