Mary Lou Schlichting, age 70 of Canton, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Memorial services are scheduled for Friday, May 23 from Canton First United Methodist Church at 11AM with Rev. Jim McRae officiating. Mrs. Schlichting is survived by her Husband, James Schlichting of Canton; Son & Daughter-in-Law, Mark & Lindsay Schlichting of Canton; Daughter & Son-in-law, Laura & Ryan Will of Canton; Grandchildren, Abby, Audrey, Hudson, Charlotte, Cameron and Griffin. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cherokee County Humane Society. Arrangements should be finalized by Monday afternoon. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
