Mary Sue Nix Stutz, a 20-year resident of Canton, Georgia, died on Thursday afternoon, March 17, 2011.  She was born on July 15, 1937 in Cumming, Georgia to the late Leon and Mary Kathryn Nix.  Sue was a beloved wife, mother, sister and aunt.  She was the fifth of seven children, predeceased by siblings Joseph Nix, Evelyn Dixon, Billy Nix, J.D. Nix and Hugh Nix.  She is mourned by her husband, Lionel Stutz, son Phillip Davis (Krystal Rollins), step-children Jeffrey Stutz (Shirley), Brian Stutz (Dean), Ellen Weidner (Steven) and Jonathan Stutz (Stacie), sister Janell Smith (Hoyt), many nieces and nephews, and dear friends.  Lionel and Sue enjoyed 41 years together in Atlanta, Montreal, Columbus and Canton. Sue loved her pet cat Minnie and dog Duchess.  Sue worked for Bell Telephone, National NuGrape Company and C&S Bank in Atlanta.  There will be a visitation at the Darby Funeral Home, 480 Main Street, Canton, Georgia on Tuesday evening, March 22 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday morning, March 23, from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m.  Funeral services will be conducted at the same location by the Rev. Charles Davis at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday.  Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park, 2000 Cobb Parkway SE, Marietta, Georgia.
