Maureen D. Brendle, 87, of Woodstock, GA passed away March 5, 2023, surrounded by family and friends. She was born January 17, 1936, in Bronx, N.Y. The daughter of the late James and Anna McDermott. She was married to the late Thomas "Fred" Brendle for 60 years.

You may have known her from the Marietta Square as she served you at Tommy's Sandwich Shop or at the Lunch Basket near Kennestone Hospital. She was a loving, caring and good-hearted MOM. She always had time to bake cookies with her grandkids and was delighted to know her 5:00 p.m. beer was waiting for her in the future.

She is survived by her son Tommy Brendle, daughters Diane Webb (John) and Eileen Kile. Three grandsons Brian Graham (Melissa), Brandon Graham (Kalyn) and Austin Kile (Becky) as well as four great grandchildren and one sister, Anne Diminno.

The family would like to acknowledge their mom's special angels, Catherine Norwood, Crystal Diblik and Tina McDaniel.

The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home in Canton, GA on Thursday, March 30th from Noon-1:00 p.m. The Funeral service will follow at 1:00p.m. with the Burial at 3:00 p.m. at Georgia National Cemetery.
