Mr. Melvin Jackie Edwards, age 68 of Acworth, Ga passed away on April 6, 2015 at his residence. Visitation for Mr. Edwards will be Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Darby Funeral Home from 3-4 PM. A memorial service will begin at 4 PM, with Reverend Billy Edmondson officiating. He is survived by his son Clay Edwards of Hoschton, Ga; son Chas Edwards of Suwanee, Ga; daughter Karen Mosley of Flowery Branch, Ga; brothers Bobby James of Jasper, Ga, Jerry James of Carmichael, Ca, Jesse James of Jasper, Ga, Johnny Lacy of Canton, Ga, Tommy Lacy of Canton, Ga; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is handling these funeral arrangements.
