Melvin Roy Gay age 74 of Canton, GA passed away on Wednesday May 17, 2017 at his residence. Melvin was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He was a member of Old Damascus Church for 61 years.
Visitation will begin Thursday May 18, 2017 from 5:00PM -10:00PM and Friday May 19, 2017 from 10:00AM - 10:00PM.
The Funeral will be held at 11:00AM Saturday May 20, 2017 at the Old Damascus Church in Ball Ground, GA. Reverend Frank Ellis, Reverend C.W. Burgess, Jr., Reverend Dean Ghorley and Reverend Larry White will officiate the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife; Rachel Gay, Daughter; Leigh Anne Shaw, Canton, GA, son; Joey (Jessica) Gay, Canton, GA, grandchildren surviving; Caleigh Shaw, Ryker Shaw, Ansley Gay, Annika Gay and Brayden Gay. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
