Meree White, age 82 of Canton, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at her residence. The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 5:00p.m.- 8:00p.m. The funeral will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 2:00p.m. at Orange United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Outlaw officiating. Mrs. White will lie in state from 1:30PM until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Forrest Smith White of Canton; her son, Michael (Tabby) White of Canton; her daughter, Sheree (Bill) Martin of Valley, AL., brother; J.D. Cronan, Canton, GA, sisters; Fran Cronan, Suwanee, GA, Thelma Gilbert, Freehome, GA, her grandchildren, Aimee Martin, Melissa Shumaker, Michael White, Emily Hill, and Tracy Martin; and her great-grandchild, Roid Hill. She is preceded in death by her daughter; Sabrina Meree White and grandson, Andy Martin. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
