Michael "Alex" Alexander Vanderford

Michael "Alex" Alexander Vanderford, age 54, of Jasper, GA, passed away on Friday December 27, 2024, at his residence. Alex was born on December 20, 1970, to Marsha Ingram Williams and Bobby Joe Vanderford.
Alex is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joe Vanderford. He is survived by his mother, Marsha Ingram Williams, and stepfather, David McKinley Williams, of Canton, GA; his sister, Amy Williams Barron, and her husband, Chad Barron, of Canton, GA; and his beloved nieces, McKinley Barron and Blakeley Barron, and nephew, Parker Barron.
A service to honor Alex's life will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, in the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. Reverend Doug Mulkey will officiate the service. Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Darby Funeral Home.
