Mickey Greeson born April 22 1940 and passed away on October 2, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Earnest C. Greeson and his mother, Teenie Baxter
Greeson, of Calhoun, GA, along with his brothers. He was a wholesale car dealer until his
retirement. He was an avid golfer and loved UGA football. He liked to travel when he could to
Savannah and to the Edisto Island area for golfing and relaxation. Mickey resided in Calhoun,
GA where he grew up. He graduated from Calhoun High School where he was a standout
football player. He is survived by sons, Danny Greeson, Jasper, GA and Clint Greeson of
Cartersville, GA, four grandchildren whom he loved dearly
University student, Amber Greeson 19, Coastal Carolina University student, and Preston
Greeson 16, and Justin Greeson 15, both of whom attend Cherokee High School in Canton.
Mickey always had a smile on his face and used his salesman charm to endear you to him. He
was known as Uncle Mickey to many. Mickey was a loving father, uncle, son, brother and
friend. Mickey never met a stranger and always seemed to know someone everywhere he
went. Mickey will be missed by his family and friends. The celebration of his life will be held at
the Darby Funeral home in Canton, GA on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 6PM. The family will receive guests an hour before the ceremony. Please keep sending your prayers.
